From the three I heard about Oddisee first. Such a talented, whole hearted producer and MC. His work with Trek LIfe was the beginning for me, then "Chocolate City Dreaming," off his "Odd Summer" EP really got me.

YU got me next. At first I was hating; he made the drop for the mixtape while he was eating. If you listen close enough you can hear him chewing. I said "Yo dude is eating? wtf." Soon as listened to the "Before Taxes," LP, I was sold on dude. He had two instrumental joints on that LP that caught my attention.

X.O.'s "Monumental" LP contained beats that sound like they are from a dream. His words though, his words will send you to a nurse.
